Meet Pierre Allard
Pierre is 11 years old and lives in Paris, with his grand papa and grand mama, Henri & Marielle.
Our story begins on a spring evening in Paris, where a huge fire is raging in the centre of the city.

The world famous Notre Dame cathedral is on fire and burning out of control, with the firefighters struggling to contain the blaze.

But Pierre has other things to think about.
​
Like, who were his mother and father, and what happened to them? Why can he never get a straight answer from his grandparents when he asks about them? And what on Earth has he found hiding in the shrubbery of the small, gated park on the way to school!
